About Don

Helping high-performance fathers optimize their health, energy, and purpose — led by a combat veteran, clinical provider, and single dad.

Hi, I’m Don

I’m a retired Army officer and former Sergeant First Class with over 22 years of service, including deployments to Afghanistan, Hungary, Kosovo, and beyond. I’m also a board-certified Physician Assistant, now working full-time as the lead provider for a wellness company specializing in GLP-1s, hormone health, and long-term weight loss.

Today, I live in Fair Oaks Ranch, Texas, where I’m raising two daughters on my own — one in college (about to graduate), and one in high school. We don’t have nearby family support, so I know firsthand what it means to lead, provide, and persist through difficult seasons.

How I Rebuilt My Life

After retiring from the Army as a CPT, I hit a wall: burnout, weight gain, depression, and the feeling that I was drifting. I had lost my health, my focus, and my spark.

Through personal transformation — physically, mentally, emotionally — I reclaimed my strength and dropped over 50 pounds. I used everything I learned from my military leadership, medical training, and life as a single father to create the system I now coach others through.

Why The Dad Optimization Project Exists

Because real transformation isn’t about hacks or hustle — it’s about consistency, coaching, and community.
Whether you’re trying to lose weight, get your energy back, or reconnect with your role as a father, this project gives you the tools to lead from the front.
